Here are some of the common questions that we get asked at the studio. Hopefully this can help clarify some things. But if they don't, give us a shout and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
Q: Do you do piercings?

A: No. In South Carolina, piercing and tattoo studios have to be separate businesses.

Q:  What are your prices?

A: Prices vary depending on the size/detail of each tattoo. Our studio minimum is $60, and prices go up from there. We charge $150 an hour, and also offer discounted rates for half-day and whole-day appointments. These rates do not apply to guest artists, as they make their own pricing (which can include travel expenses). Ultimately, the only person that can give you a direct price quote will be the artist you will be working with

Q:  What are your hours?

A:  12 noon to roughly 8 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. If we're there, we're open. If we're not there, we're closed.

Q:  Where are you located?

A:  4018 Fernandina Road, Columbia, SC. We're located right off of I-26, exit 104 Piney Grove Rd, in the Green's shopping center. You can find us in between Hertz Rental Cars and Lifetime Cabinets and Countertops. If you're having trouble finding us, feel free to give us a call and we can help you out!

Q:  Do you require a deposit?

A:   We do require a deposit for all appointments, and there is a 1 hour minimum on all appointments. We do accept walk ins based on availability of our artists. See our walk in policy here.

Q: How do I set up an appointment?

A: Contact the studio and we can guide you through the process. Most appointments can be booked online and over email, and others will involve a face-to-face consultation with the artist so that they can better prepare for the project. Check here for our contact methods and book an appointment today!

Q:  What forms of payment do you accept?

A:  We take all forms. Of course cash is king, but we can also take all forms of credit/debit. No checks.

Q:  How old do you have to be?

A:  18, no matter if you have parental consent or not. Sorry kiddos, that's the law in South Carolina.

Q:  Do you sell gift certificates?

A:  Yes. They make the perfect gift for any occasion, so come down to the studio and buy 5 of 'em!

Q:  Is there sufficient parking?

A:  Yes, plenty.

Q:  Are you Handicap Accessible?

A:  Absolutely. Not only are we ADA compliant... we've got so much room, Will Ferrell keeps trying to do karate with John C Riley in our lobby.

Q:  Can I get my face or neck tattooed?

A:  Nope. In South Carolina, it is illegal to tattoo the head/neck/face because the state will then consider you unemployable, making you eligible for unemployment. I know it doesn't make much sense, but don't blame me. Take it up with your local representative.

Q:  Do you do touch ups?

A:  Yes. We guarantee all of our work. Once your tattoo has healed (usually around 2 weeks) come on by the studio and we can see how everything healed and get you scheduled. Touch-ups are free, within reason. If there was an issue during the healing process, caused by client negligence, there could be a $60 set up fee for the touch up. So make sure you take care of your tattoo and follow our aftercare instructions!

Q:  Can I donate blood after getting a tattoo?

A:  Yes. According to the American Red Cross, "A tattoo is acceptable if the tattoo was applied by a state-regulated entity using sterile needles and ink that is not reused." Since South Carolina is a state that regulates its tattoo facilities, its safe to give blood after getting a tattoo from us! However, we still recommend discussing it with your health historian at the time of the donation.

Q: Is there anything that I should do before my appointment?

A: Absolutely. Click here for a list of our Appointment Tips.

If you have any questions that can't be answered above, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to help!
